Beautiful post, Clare. I've been feeling down myself, but I'm finding so much joy in my garden and spent time working on a fun painting. Here's to celebrating small wins!

Hi Anne, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been feeling down, sometimes it’s creeps up on us when we least expect it. You have a beautiful garden and painting is a great way to switch off the left side of the brain, just for a while. I’ve read a quote that says, always celebrate the small things in life, because you come realise that they were big things - or something like that. Keep doing what you do and spreading the joy 💖🐛

I love how you just went with how you were feeling and gained so much from it. We can all learn to do that more often than we do!

Life isn’t perfect, we are all striving hard. However, it’s so important to give ourselves a break and appreciate the small everyday things in life. 🙏💜

Well done Clare. I shall look forward to seeing your design.

My little win is coping with and surviving the first onslaught of grandchildren 🙄

Hi Clare, Just returned from a trip to Iceland and have been catching up with your podcast. Sorry to hear you have been struggling. Travelling abroad was a big step for me after some personal challenges, but I found time and space to do some painting and sketching. It was a great distraction ,and now I have a nice collection of small paintings that I can ponder over and that bring me some joy.

Hi Angela, A trip to Iceland sounds fab and I am so pleased you managed to get some painting done whilst you were away. Happy memories that I hope you will share with me. Well done on travelling abroad - a change of scenery can spark new motivation for creating and it sounds like it did. 💖

Well done on still noticing those small wines. I too absolutely loved that book, I didn't want it to end.

Your Kingfisher is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on being awarded the project! I am so happy for you and your "small wins", which I don't think are small at all. Your writing is so eloquent, and I am sure you could write a wonderful book and illustrate it, too (something like The Painted Seasons book you bought?). I hope you feel overall better very soon. Your trip to Cornwall sounds wonderful, and I look forward to the video. Take good care of yourself, and we will patiently wait your return. 💜

Thank you Cyndi for your lovely comment and words of encouragement. I would love to write a book, publish my newsletters and illustrate it - maybe I will in the future. I love how my kingfisher turned out and I was relieved at the same time. 😊 I feel much brighter this week and will be filming and editing my next video this afternoon - after I’ve walked Audrey. Thank you for your support. 🙏🧚
